Administrative Services

Human Resources, Corporate Safety, Corporate Insurance, and Records Management

Employees are the most important asset at Big Rivers, as the workforce is the backbone of any successful company. We are proud of our employees for making Big Rivers one of the top generation and transmission cooperatives in the country.

Our dedicated and loyal team has enabled our organization to be a top performer in multiple categories over the years, especially when it comes to safety.  By keeping every employee safe, focused, and motivated, we improve morale, instill employee confidence in their ability to achieve success in our mission, and continue serving our member cooperatives with excellence. That’s why Big Rivers is committed to fostering a safe and healthy workplace for its employees.

Additionally, in an effort to maintain our workforce objectives, Big Rivers’ Administrative Services department provides continual focus in the areas of talent management, leadership development, performance management, succession planning, and corporate safety. This department is also responsible for corporate insurance, labor relations, and corporate recordkeeping.

The selection, development, and retention of our talented workforce ensure Big Rivers will have the skilled staff ready to face the challenges ahead.

The Transparency in Coverage rule requires that group health plans create machine-readable files (MRFs) that contain the negotiated rates for in-network providers and allowed amounts derived from historical claims for out-of-network providers, and make those files publicly available.  These files must be made available on an open-access website effective 7/1/2022.
